Saturday, May 11, 2013, marks the 11th Annual Roseman University of Health Sciences Scholarship Gala. This high profile event helps to fund the educational scholarships and services for our outstanding students.

The location this year is the Florentine Ballroom of Caesar's Palace.  Our theme, befitting this grand property, is “When in Rome” with all of the glory and pageantry of the ancient city. All décor and tables will reflect this theme.

Our entertainment will feature three great musical artists.  Our pianist is long-time Roseman University supporter, composer and recording artist, Tim Boatman.  Our singers are professional opera stars Rochelle Martinsen and Lance Taubold. All three artists have performed locally and nationally.  These special talents will bring a spark to the festivities of the evening.

The reception with sparkling wines and Hors D’Ouerves will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a Silent Auction, Mystery Gifts and a Scholarship Raffle.  The gourmet dinner will begin at 7 p.m. with entertainment, followed by a Live Auction and presentation of the elite Champion of Health Care in Education Award.  This is the 7th year for the awards and our honoree is the dynamic Bob Cooper, Development Director for the City of Henderson.  Bob has been instrumental in our university locating and growing in Henderson.
