Dr. Harry Rosenberg, founding President of the Nevada College of Pharmacy, now Roseman University of Health Sciences, began the formation of the privately held school in 1999 after realizing that a need existed for well-prepared pharmacists in the state of Nevada.

Prior to establishing the University, Dr. Rosenberg served as Dean of the College of Pharmacy at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. He previously held the position of Dean and Professor at North Dakota State University, College of Pharmacy in Fargo. Dr. Rosenberg also served as Professor and Chairman of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Campbell University in Buis Creek, North Carolina, and as a Professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center's College of Pharmacy in Omaha. 

Dr. Rosenberg earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Toronto. In addition, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy, a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, as well as, a Master of Science and PhD in Biochemistry/Natural Products from the same institution.

Dr. Rosenberg has numerous publications in scientific and educational journals. His major research activities focused on the secondary complications of diabetes.

He is currently a member of the American Pharmacist Association and the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. Active in the Southern Nevada business community, Dr. Rosenberg is a member of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, the Henderson Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau.
