The Roseman University of Health Sciences Financial Aid Office staff is here to assist students with the process of applying for financial aid. Our experienced staff is available during office hours (M-F 8 am to 5 pm) to respond to your financial aid questions and requests. No appointments are necessary. Students are assisted in the office on a walk-in basis or may call or email to speak with a financial aid representative. Financial Aid Offices are located on both the Henderson and South Jordan campuses. 

In an effort to contact students as quickly and efficiently as possible about their status in the financial aid process, the Financial Aid Office will use email as the primary means of communicating with students. We will use your Roseman student email address as the main contact while you are enrolled. It is your responsibility to maintain your student email address in order to receive financial aid information.

Loan Changes for Graduate and Professional Students

On August 2, 2011, President Obama signed into law the Budget Control Act of 2011. Under Title V Section 502, the bill specifies “TERMINATION OF AUTHORITY TO MAKE INTEREST SUBSIDIZED LOANS TO GRADUATE AND PROFESSIONAL STUDENTS.”

Beginning July 1, 2012, there will no longer be Subsidized loans offered to Graduate and Professional level students. Graduate/Professional students will only be offered Unsubsidized loans with an interest rate of 6.8%, which will begin accruing upon disbursal of the loan.

Loan Changes for All Students

The new law, under Title V Section 503, includes the elimination of the up-front interest rebate on all loans disbursed on or after July 1, 2012.

Please know the changes will not affect earlier Direct Loans, or those taken out in spring 2012, but are effective for loans disbursed on or after July 1, 2012.* 

(*Pharmacy students starting their P3 year in May 2012 will still be able to borrow Subsidized loans until June 30, 2012.)
