Welcome from the Director

The office of University Relations presents all University official fundraising events to support the more than $200,000 in scholarships and services presented to our outstanding students each year and to support the many Roseman community outreach events presented throughout Southern Nevada. Our community outreach includes over six health festivals presented by the University and any other health fairs in which we participate and support. It also includes events in which we partner with outside organizations such as the many chambers of commerce, other health care nonprofits and emerging community needs which we can support by the nature of our educational curriculum with life-saving information and health care educational facts.

Our community outreach also includes writing, production and interviews presented through our weekly Roseman Community Health Beat TV show, which is going into its sixth year of consecutive shows on Cox Cable 96.

University Relations is an active source in seeking grant funding to support other University units. In-kind donations to support the educational needs of our students and the various colleges and programs are also an active part of University Relations. If something is needed to help the University or to connect the University to various segments of the Southern Nevada community, then University Relations is usually the first unit of contact.
