Reimagine Your Smile with The Orthodontic Clinic at Roseman University

April 5, 2017

The Orthodontic Clinic at Roseman University is located in Henderson, Nevada and offers orthodontic treatment without the high cost. Patients are seen by orthodontic residents who are Nevada State licensed dentists seeking to be orthodontists. The residents are teamed with highly qualified, board certified or board eligible faculty to provide comprehensive orthodontic care to patients of all ages.

The Orthodontic Clinic offers affordable low prices and a payment plan of $139 down and $139 for 24 months. Most insurance plans are accepted and the clinic is a Medicaid provider.

“We offer affordable, outstanding orthodontic care to any patient that needs it whether they have insurance coverage or not. We offer very affordable payment plans so that everyone can afford outstanding orthodontic care,” said Dr. Jaleh Pourhamidi, Dean of the College of Dental Medicine, Henderson Campus, and Program Director of the Advanced Education in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics/MBA Residency Program. “We believe that having a beautiful smile and functional bite should not be exclusive, but rather accessible to anyone who needs it, children, teenagers, and adults alike.”

Patients at the clinic range in age and each has a unique treatment plan. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that children first visit an orthodontist around the age of seven; however, orthodontic treatment is not exclusive to children and teens, with about one in every five orthodontic patients being over the age of 21.  While conventional braces are available, there are also plenty of other treatment options that may be more convenient for adult patients, such as Invisalign®, In-Ovation® and SureSmile®.

The doctors at the clinic specialize in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. While orthodontics entails the management of tooth movement, dentofacial orthopedics involves the guidance of facial growth and development, which occurs largely during childhood. Appliances are frequently used — the more familiar braces for orthodontics, and other specialized appliances like headgear and expanders depending on what facial abnormalities are present. Sometimes orthopedic treatment may precede conventional braces, but often the two are used at the same time. So if an individual gets braces and headgear, he/she is actually undergoing orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.

Being skilled in both areas, our doctors are able to diagnose any misalignments in the teeth and jaw as well as the facial structure, and can devise a treatment plan that integrates both orthodontic and dentofacial orthopedic treatments.

The goals of The Orthodontic Clinic team include building patient trust, providing a friendly and inviting environment, and scheduling appointments so that patients are in and out in an efficient and timely manner.  The clinic also offers a Patient Rewards program that encourages patients to earn points by patient referrals, compliance during treatment, arriving on time, good oral hygiene and participation in special internal promotions. Earned reward points can be redeemed for gift cards with hundreds of options from which to choose.
