Welcome, intrepid reader! In honor of National Book Lovers’ Day this August 9th, Roseman University Library is launching a Fun Reading guide to help students and faculty navigate our leisure reading collection. It can be an adventure in itself keeping track of all our new arrivals, best sellers, and book events, so be sure to check our guide regularly so that we can keep you updated.
In the meantime, be sure to check out the Fun Reading guide (http://infoguides.roseman.edu/funreading). Our new resources will make it easier than ever to choose your next read.
- Our New Arrivals page will keep you up to date on any additions to our collection and their location. Don’t forget: we’re more than happy to place a hold and transfer titles between campuses so don’t hesitate to ask!
- The New York Times Bestseller List will keep you apprised of the current national rankings, how long they’ve managed to hold their place on the list, and which of those titles are available in our collection.
- Our Book Displays page will keep you informed of our monthly featured titles. Again, while these are featured physically on a display within the library, they are also available for check out.
- Finally, our Request a Book page is your one-stop-shop for ensuring our reading collection is tailored to you. The form itself takes only half a minute to complete. If your title is available through our vendor, your request will be included in a future book order. If you include your name and email address, we’ll be happy to place the item on hold and notify you once your request has been added to our collection. (Please bear in mind that our leisure reading vendor typically only offers books within two years of their initial publish date and that older titles may not be available.)
Gather your resources and brace yourself, dauntless reader. Adventure awaits.
