Following months of planning and preparation, today University of Southern Nevada officially becomes Roseman University of Health Sciences. While the name, logos and colors of the university have changed, what has not is our mission to be a leader in transforming health care education. We are extremely proud of how Roseman has grown and prospered since its founding in 1999 and we’re looking forward to the future as we continue to create and deliver high-quality, in-demand academic programs that provide the education necessary for tomorrow’s leading health care professionals, in Nevada, Utah and across the country.
The university staff is working diligently to complete the transition from USN to Roseman. Much has been accomplished, but small details remain. A notable change is the URL address of the university’s website from usn.edu to roseman.edu.The old URL will remain forwarded until September. However, we recommend changing your bookmarks now.
Also, employee, student and alumni email addresses have changed from usn.edu to roseman.edu. For example, an email for John Doe that was firstname.lastname@example.org is now email@example.com. Students will be firstname.lastname@example.org and Alumni will be email@example.com. USN email address will forward until September. However, as with the website address, updating contact information is highly encouraged to avoid disruption of communication.
Finally, please note Roseman’s new Twitter and Facebook accounts. For the latest updates about the university, following and liking is highly encouraged. Another great source of information is this news blog. Utilizing the RSS feed or signing up for email notification of updates are also great ways to stay up to date. The previous version of the blog, USN Connect, will no longer be actively updated. However, the post archives will still be available on the site.
If you have any questions regarding the university’s name change, please feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org.
