May 18, 2017 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Summerlin Campus, One Breakthrough Way
Las Vegas, NV 89135 United States
+ Google Map

Please join Dr. Aurelio Lorico for a discussion on three deadly cancers, Breast, Melanoma and Brain Cancer. Learn about prevention, prevalence of these cancers, treatment options and what kinds of research are currently being conducted to answer some of the most difficult questions about these cancers.

Breast cancer, melanoma and glioblastoma, the most aggressive form of brain cancer, represent a great challenge for cancer scientists and clinicians because of their prevalence or their aggressiveness. This is an exciting time for translating recent progress in the understanding of the biology of cancer cells and of their genome into more effective cancer treatments. We will highlight the recent progress that has been made in the treatment and prevention of these deadly diseases, including original research that is currently being conducted at our Institution in the hope of developing novel therapeutic approaches for these types of cancer.

Enjoy a complimentary wine tasting by ONEHOPE Wines. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of ONEHOPE wines benefit Roseman University of Health Sciences Scholarship Fund, and ONEHOPE empowerment projects such as Breast Cancer and Autism research, Veterans support and Ovarian Cancer education initiatives.
