The College of Dental Medicine supports numerous high-impact community outreach events throughout the year that provide dental care and education to under and uninsured families. These events provide over $10M of care annually to over 13,000 patients including children, Veterans, refugees, disabled and elderly populations.
Scholarships are vital in attracting and supporting exceptional dental students, many of whom face significant financial burdens in completing dental school. Our region is in dire need of high-quality, empathic dental providers to address gaps in and barriers to oral healthcare.
