Neighborhood Health Series: Planting the Seed: Tending the Garden, The Path to Starting a Private, Not-For-Profit University

February 15, 2018 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Eighteen years ago, three founders listened to the calls in their community and answered with the development of Nevada’s largest, private, not for profit University. They created a Health Sciences University based on the innovative Six Point Mastery Learning Model, designed to create high levels of competence and mastery among students, so they can go on to be high achieving professionals. How do you start a University? What challenges exist in starting? What lessons have been learned? How has the University evolved and grown and what is in its sightline for the future? Meet Dr. Renee Coffman, Founder and President, and hear her remarkable professional and personal story in starting one of Nevada’s greatest healthcare resources.

Register to attend this free community event. Light food and refreshments will be served.
