Hero Scholar: Luke Williams
Luke Williams has spent his life building—whether constructing wheelchair ramps for disabled community members, rebuilding hurricane-damaged areas in Florida, or building bridges of service across communities. His dedication to selfless service has earned him recognition as a 2025 Hero Scholar.

Luke’s service journey began early through Boy Scouts, where he dedicated seven years to community projects including building picnic tables for local parks and cleaning gravesites. His Eagle Scout project required extensive planning, fundraising, and volunteer coordination to rebuild benches and a campfire for a deteriorated campsite, teaching him leadership, delegation, and project management skills that would serve him throughout his life.
From ages 19-21, Luke volunteered two years as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Ogden, Utah, dedicating over 70 hours weekly to community outreach. As a zone leader, he guided over 20 missionaries, planned weekly trainings, and helped set and accomplish collective goals. His service included volunteering at food banks, participating in flood cleanup efforts, and serving those in daily need, experiences that taught him diligence, patience, and compassion.
With a Biology degree from BYU-Idaho and over a year of pharmacy technician experience at multiple locations, including Publix Pharmacy and BYU Idaho Pharmacy, Luke brings both scientific knowledge and practical healthcare experience to his studies. His work filling prescriptions, managing inventory, and administering immunizations has given him valuable insight into pharmaceutical operations and patient care.
Now pursuing his PharmD at Roseman University’s South Jordan campus, Luke combines his service-oriented leadership style with technical expertise. The Hero Scholarship, provided by RBM Services, will support his mission to create pharmacy environments where patients feel comfortable seeking medication counseling and where team members thrive in a pleasant, effective workplace.
