Hero Scholar: William Driscoll

When emergency strikes, William Driscoll is the calm in the chaos. With over 4,000 clinical hours as an Emergency Medical Technician responding to 911 calls in high-pressure, resource-limited environments, William has earned Catoosa County EMT of the Year, the Lazarus Award for a successful cardiac arrest resuscitation, and Puckett EMS Medical Call of the Year, all while building a decade-long commitment to service that began with Habitat for Humanity.

His leadership started in high school, when he served as president of his school’s Habitat for Humanity chapter and was selected to lead an international build in North Macedonia, later joining the Leadership Committee for Reformed University Fellowship at the University of Tennessee. He has spent years assisting elderly individuals through Senior Outreach and even provided full-time personal care for a patient with a rare muscle disorder, learning firsthand how to see the human first and the patient second.

Now pursuing an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Roseman University’s South Jordan campus, William brings a rare combination of battlefield-tested composure, proven leadership, and a lifelong belief that meaningful service is a lasting commitment. The Hero Scholarship, funded by Go Fish Digital, will support his mission to become a nurse who leads by supporting teammates, advocating for patients, and making every person feel seen, heard, and valued.
