Roseman’s story began with pharmacy. In 1999, three pharmacy educators set out to challenge convention and create a better way to prepare highly competent healthcare professionals. What began as the Nevada College of Pharmacy has grown into a comprehensive health sciences university — while pharmacy remains central to Roseman’s identity, history, and innovative approach to education.
Today, Roseman is seeking a Dean ready to build upon that legacy and lead the College boldly into its next chapter.

The Dean serves as the College’s chief academic and administrative officer, providing leadership across its Henderson, Nevada, and South Jordan, Utah, locations.
The next Dean will inherit a strong foundation: an innovative accelerated three-year Doctor of Pharmacy program, dedicated faculty and staff, engaged students, more than 3,200 alumni, and a University committed to thinking boldly about the future of health professions education.

The College of Pharmacy is where the Roseman story began.
Its accelerated three-year Doctor of Pharmacy program is built around Roseman’s distinctive Six-Point Mastery Learning Model®, emphasizing competency, active and collaborative learning, frequent assessment and feedback, early experiential education, and professional readiness.
Students learn across two locations and benefit from academic pathways, experiential education, research opportunities, community engagement, interprofessional learning, and partnerships that connect their education to the evolving practice of pharmacy.

The successful candidate will be a visionary and strategic, student-centered leader who values collaboration, shared governance, accountability, innovation, and academic excellence.
Roseman's next Dean should bring the ability to lead change, develop people, build relationships across complex stakeholder groups, make data-informed decisions, and serve as an effective external advocate for the College and the pharmacy profession.
Above all, the Dean should bring the integrity, transparency, accessibility, and entrepreneurial spirit necessary to unite the College around a shared vision and turn bold ideas into meaningful results.

The Dean will be based primarily at Roseman's Henderson, Nevada campus in the Las Vegas metropolitan area while providing visible and meaningful leadership at the College's South Jordan, Utah campus in the Salt Lake Valley.
Together, the two locations connect the College with growing healthcare markets, pharmacy and life-sciences communities, healthcare organizations, professional networks, and diverse populations across Nevada and Utah.
The next Dean will have an opportunity to strengthen those connections while building a cohesive College-wide culture across both locations.
