Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association

The Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA) chapter at Roseman University College of Medicine strives to promote the health and well-being of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities that call Las Vegas home through outreach, education, and advocacy.

Arts in Medicine

The mission of the Arts in Medicine club at Roseman University College of Medicine is to cultivate more well-rounded and empathetic future physicians by deepening their understanding of patient perspectives through the arts and broader medical humanities.

Dermatology Interest Group Association (DIGA)

The mission of DIGA is to inspire interest and provide support for students interested in the field of dermatology at Roseman University College of Medicine through volunteer events, educational workshops, and mentorship.

Pediatrics Interest Group at RUCOM

The Pediatrics Interest Group at RUCOM aims to support students in exploring pediatrics and its subspecialties. Our mission includes addressing challenges in the field such as workforce shortages, engaging with local families to promote health literacy and awareness, and preparing students for a career in pediatrics through mentorship, clinical exposure, and service.

Primary Care Interest Group

The Primary Care Interest Group is a group that explores generalist medical fields that give students the opportunity to be exposed to different primary care fields.

Psychiatry Student Interest Group Network (PsychSIGN)

The Psychiatry Student Interest Group Network (PsychSIGN) aims to connect those passionate about psychiatry to advance their knowledge of the field, promote community wellness, foster professional development, and facilitate open discussions about mental health.

The Student Community Outreach Program’s mission is to partner with communities to address health needs, provide culturally sensitive education, and build sustainable connections that promote long-term wellness.

The Surgical, Anatomical, and Radiological Interest Group (SAR)

The Surgical, Anatomical, and Radiological Interest Group (SAR) exists to foster early exposure to surgery, anatomy, and radiology through hands-on learning, mentorship, and collaborative education. It aims to strengthen students’ foundational understanding of anatomy and imaging as they relate to surgical practice by offering opportunities such as dissections, skills workshops, and case-based learning. SAR is dedicated to supporting students interested in surgically oriented fields while promoting teamwork and professionalism in patient-centered care.

Vietnamese American Medical Student Association (VAMSA)

The Vietnamese American Medical Student Association seeks to create a community of healthcare professionals committed to improving healthcare outcomes to the Vietnamese population. We aim to address the health disparities affecting the Vietnamese population through service as well as promote Vietnamese culture and diversity in medicine.
