Explore Our Colleges
Established in 1999, when it was just a small office known as the Nevada College of Pharmacy, Roseman University of Health Sciences became one of the most innovative schools in the western United States. What started as $15,000 and Dr. Harry Rosenberg’s dream of offering a unique healthcare education is now a university with five colleges and more than 1,600 students spanning two states.
College of Dental Medicine
Begin your journey into dentistry at Roseman University’s College of Dental Medicine. Our dental program began accepting students in 2007 and uses the Roseman University Six-Point Mastery Learning Model® to teach students who are just entering the field, as well as those who are looking for ongoing education. We use a combination of classroom lectures and immersive, interactive technology that uses high-end equipment to teach students how to provide comprehensive dental care. After initial courses, classes take a hands-on approach. Students, residents and licensed faculty dentists are grouped together to provide affordable care to the community. Upon graduation, students can apply for Roseman’s orthodontic residency program or follow a range of career paths in the industry.
College of Nursing
If nursing is the career path you’d like to take, Roseman University’s College of Nursing is ready to help you along your path with an on-campus, 18-month BSN program or with an online hybrid program that you can complete in as few as 16 months. Degree programs include a Master of Science in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner Program (MSN/FNP), a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or a Veteran to Bachelor of Science in Nursing Pathway. Classes provide an innovative curriculum that teaches you how to best meet the needs of the community and society. This is done through both in-class lessons and clinical experiences that provide the hands-on training you need to excel in the field.
College of Pharmacy
The world of pharmacy dips into several fields. Pharmacists are scientists, but they’re also strategists. Above all, they are patient advocates. Roseman University’s College of Pharmacy offers an immersive education experience that teaches you not only how to create and prescribe the best medication regimens, but also how to relate to patients in a positive manner. The fully accredited, three-year program focuses on block teaching, master learning, and other contemporary educational principles. This means you can focus on one area at a time instead of trying to learn every part of your career path at once. After the introductory pharmacy courses, you can apply for Roseman’s PGY1 Community Pharmacy Residency to further hone your skills before making your way into the field on your own.
Outside of innovative, effective education, students at Roseman University have access to a range of resources. Student health insurance is available, as well as assistance for international students, those with disabilities, and veterans. The Guardian Student Assistance Plan is a valuable resource for students to take advantage of. The GSAP provides resources and assistance with a variety of situations, including academic stress, childcare, finances, addiction, and much more. Finally, the University is home to several student organizations. In your free time, you can join the Roseman LGBTQA Association, Student Alliance, and much more.
