Brandon Montiel

Associate Director, Philanthropy & Alumni Relations

Brandon brings a deep passion for community building, equity, and public service to his role as Associate Director of Alumni Relations & Community Engagement. Coming into Roseman University with background in nonprofit operations, outreach, and national service, Brandon is committed to strengthening alumni connections and fostering meaningful engagement between Roseman University and the broader community.

Prior to joining Roseman, Brandon served as the National Service Recruitment & Admin Coordinator at United Way of King County in Seattle, Washington. In that role, he led strategic recruitment initiatives, launched professional development programs, and facilitated BIPOC affinity groups to support service members’ success. His innovative use of systems like Basecamp and Zapier streamlined operations and enhanced program efficiency. He also brings entrepreneurial experience as the co-founder of a local restaurant.

A proud AmeriCorps alum, Brandon believes in the power of service to transform lives and uplift communities. He holds certificates in Nonprofit Board Leadership and Grant Seeking Essentials, and he is a native Spanish speaker.

Brandon is excited to support Roseman’s alumni and community partners in creating a more connected, inclusive, and impactful future.
