Hari Mudipalli is a Data Scientist at Roseman College of Medicine who joined in April 2023. As a Data Scientist, his primary responsibilities are to conduct exploratory data analysis to discover trends and patterns, detect anomalies, and extract preliminary insights from large and complex datasets. He uses advanced statistical methods and techniques to solve practical problems, interprets the results of statistical tests, and presents findings to interdisciplinary teams. He also trains, validates, tests, and deploys Machine Learning models that support assessment, evaluation, and research efforts spanning the clinical, biomedical, and population health sciences.

In addition to this, he collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and support related data projects. He uses data visualization tools to communicate data and insights to others, monitor key performance indicators, and make evidence-based recommendations to support data-driven decision-making.

Before joining Roseman College of Medicine, he held roles like Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer, where he was involved in the development of projects in the Natural Language Processing space like Chatbot, Entity Recognition system, Sentiment Analysis, and Topic Modeling and projects in Computer Vision space like Object Detection and Image Segmentation. He is passionate about using Data Science and Machine Learning to solve complex problems and improve the quality of life.
