BIOGRAPHY:

Ms. Vazquez-Amaral joined Roseman University College of Medicine in July of 2023 as Assistant Dean for Medical Simulation. She comes to RU COM with 10+ years of strong leadership experience and focus on achieving educational program goals while at the University of Virginia, School of Medicine in Charlottesville, VA. Her educational “start-up” experience includes setting up the UME medical simulation program to satisfy core curriculum and accreditation standards at Noorda College of Osteopathic Medicine in Provo, Utah.

Ms. Vazquez-Amaral oversaw all administrative, educational, curricular and outreach activities through program planning, guidance and leadership for healthcare simulation education at University of Virginia, School of Medicine and Noorda College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her expertise extends to include coordinating programs for UME, GME, CME as well as community outreach. She has 10+ years if experience in public speaking at workshop and conference presentations and for external and public relations purposes.
