Neighborhood Health Series: Eye Health in the Desert – How to Protect, Nurture, and Care for Our Eyes, “the Windows to the Soul” from Birth to Advanced Age

Roseman University’s Neighborhood Health Series (NHS) offers monthly in-person presentations on issues related to health and well-being. These events are free and open to the public, with a complimentary meal offered.

With almost 300 days of sunshine a year, Las Vegans must exercise diligent and consistent preventive eye health practices to protect their eyes from damage. How can we protect our eyes at every stage of our life? What risks must we be aware of and what diseases/complications are part of each stage of life? How often should we see an ophthalmologist, or is an Optometrist prepared to help steward our eye health? What overall health measures should we be mindful of in keeping our eyes healthy? Learn more about how to keep our “windows to the soul” healthy and well.
