Neighborhood Health Series: How One Program is Changing the Lives of Recovering Moms with Substance Use Disorders and their Babies

The EMPOWERED program at Roseman University’s Roseman Medical Group develops and unleashes the power of expectant and recent individuals with opioid and/or stimulant use disorders to actively manage their health and partner in their care, from recovery through stabilization to resilience. EMPOWERED provides iterative assessments, personalized care plans, counseling services, and health education for program participants through a four-step care plan. Learn more about this vital program, and how it is helping participants better care for themselves and their babies.
