During his two-year missionary service in Mexico, Zachari led teams of missionaries from diverse backgrounds, coordinating community service efforts while navigating complex interpersonal challenges. As a district leader, he learned to resolve conflicts, motivate struggling team members, and foster unity through clear communication and mutual respect. His fluency in Spanish enabled him to connect deeply with local communities and understand healthcare needs from a cultural perspective.

Zachari’s commitment to service continues through his role in his church’s youth program, where he dedicates four hours weekly to mentoring and community service. From distributing food to families in need to teaching young people about making positive choices, he has witnessed how small acts of service create lasting impact on community health and well-being.

His professional journey spans diverse fields—from physical therapy aide at Colville Physical Therapy to warehouse supervisor at Statewide Remodeling—each role developing his problem-solving skills and attention to detail. With a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Brigham Young University, Zachari brings scientific knowledge and practical healthcare experience to his pharmaceutical studies.

Now pursuing his PharmD at Roseman University’s South Jordan campus, Zachari combines his multilingual abilities, leadership experience, and service-oriented mindset. The Hero Scholarship, provided by the Estate of Robert Stolman, will support his mission to improve lives and communities through compassionate pharmaceutical care, guided by the values of empathy and collaboration that have shaped his journey.
