Standardized Patient Program

Developing Clinical Excellence Through Authentic Patient Interactions

Standardized Patient Program

Standardized Patients portray patients with specific medical conditions in Roseman University College of Medicine’s Medical Simulation Center to help medical students develop essential clinical skills in physical examinations, medical history-taking, and patient communication. Students receive valuable feedback from faculty, staff, and standardized patients themselves.

In alignment with Roseman University College of Medicine’s mission, the program provides a safe setting for students to develop as competent, compassionate healthcare professionals. The program also supports faculty development and contributes to curriculum assessment to ensure continuous improvement in medical education.
