Veteran Symposium and Resource Fair to Feature Education, Employment, Health and Wellness, and Housing Information


LAS VEGAS – October 25, 2018 – Roseman University of Health Sciences will host a Veteran Symposium and Resource Fair on Sat. Nov. 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at its Henderson campus, located at 11 Sunset Way. The event is free. Registration is required at

Las Vegas area military-connected individuals from all branches of the armed forces – veterans, active duty, guard, reserve, military spouses, adult dependents – are invited to attend. Students, educators, human resources personnel, caregivers and allied health professionals who work with veterans are also encouraged to attend.

Structured like a mini-conference, individuals in attendance will have the opportunity to sit and listen to scheduled sessions that include panels of expert speakers discussing education, employment, health and wellness, and housing. The event will also include a resource fair featuring dozens of federal, state, and local agencies, veteran advocacy organizations and employers offering additional information and assistance to veterans.

Morning and afternoon food and refreshments will be served. Prize drawings will be held throughout the event with the Grand Prize drawing to be held at the end of the day (must be present to win!).

The Veteran Symposium and Resource Fair is presented by the Roseman University of Health Sciences Veteran to BSN Pathway.
