Dr. Jaleh Pourhamidi, dean of the College of Dental Medicine at Roseman’s Henderson campus, has been named one of VEGAS INC’s “Health Care Headliners,” an annual award that recognizes local people who have made an important impact on the health care industry. She will be formally recognized at an awards event tonight at the Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel.
Dr. Pourhamidi is honored in the education category for her leadership in the College of Dental Medicine and the resounding success of the AEODO/MBA program, including the graduation of the first class of nine residents and the 100% first-time pass-rate by the first two classes of residents on the American Board of Orthodontics exam. She was also recognized for the outstanding service the university’s Orthodontic Clinic provides to the Southern Nevada community.
