I was born and raised in Bakersfield, California, earned my nursing degree from California State University, Bakersfield, and began my career as a trauma ICU nurse. After a year, I 
moved to San Jose, where I expanded my experience in a mixed cardiac and surgical ICU. I come from a close-knit family that includes my parents, my twin sister, and my younger brother—and I’m also a proud dog mom to two pups, Bambi and Sage. Outside of school, I love scuba diving, hiking, baking, and reading. Since moving to Henderson in January, I’ve made great friendships and embraced this new chapter in pursuing my DNPNA so that I can work as a CRNA .
My interest in anesthesia began in high school when I shadowed in the OR and first met a CRNA. I was immediately drawn to the precision, leadership, and purpose of the role. Helping patients through one of the most vulnerable moments of their lives felt deeply meaningful—and I knew this was the path for me.

My favorite facet is Competency-Based Education. It ensures that we’re not just moving through material passively—we’re being held to a high standard of proficiency. Knowing that I must reach a certain level of competence before advancing keeps me accountable and ensures I’m building a solid foundation to be a safe and skilled provider.
Completing my first clinical practicum has been the highlight of my journey so far. After graduation, I hope to continue growing as a CRNA and participate in medical mission trips to bring care to underserved communities around the world.
