Orthodontic Residency Program Alumna’s Research to be Published

A manuscript, “Three-dimensional Airway evaluation in 387 Subjects from One University Orthodontic Clinic using Cone Beam Computed Tomography,”  by Dr. Chuen Chie Chiang, a Class of 2011 graduate from Roseman University’s Orthodontic Residency Program (AEODO/MBA), has been accepted for publication in in an upcoming issue of The Angle Orthodontics. An international journal of orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, The Angle Orthodontics is the official publication of the Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontists and is published by The EH Angle Education and Research Foundation, Inc.

According the College of Dental Medicine – Nevada Dean and AEODO/MBA Program Director Dr. Jaleh Pourhamidi, Dr. Chiang and her mentors worked tirelessly on the research project during her residency. Previously, based on this research project, Dr. Chiang was selected to compete in the Charley Schultz Resident Scholar Award Program for the 2011 American Association of Orthodontists Meeting where she took home the second place award.
