Orthodontic Residents Conquer Board Exam for a Third Year

May 22, 2012

Like their predecessors from the College of Dental Medicine’s Advanced Education in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (AEODO)/MBA  Classes of 2011 and 2012, all 10 residents of the Class of 2013 have passed the American Board of Orthodontics written examination, achieving a 100% first-time pass rate. The exam was taken in May, in the second year of the three-year certificate program that provides orthodontic specialty training for dentists. In announcing the exam results, College of Dental Medicine, Nevada Dean, Dr. Jaleh Pourhamidi, said “A big thank you goes to all the faculty that have contributed to our success, and to the administration for their continued  credence and support.”

Congratulations to the Class of 2013 for their outstanding success!
