Roseman University College of Medicine Welcomes Dr. Jamie Fairclough
In July, Roseman University College of Medicine welcomed a new member to its team. Jamie Fairclough, PhD, MPH, MSPHarm, serves as Associate Dean for Assessment and Evaluation.
Dr. Fairclough brings to Roseman a wealth of knowledge and expertise in professional program accreditation, measurement, evaluation, and assessment analytics, as well as a decade of experience conducting mixed methods research across community, clinical, and educational settings. She works collaboratively with research scientists, health systems administrators, clinicians, and health professions educators in all phases of the research process, from design to dissemination.
Prior to joining Roseman, Dr. Fairclough was Assistant Professor and Program Evaluator for the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine (HWCOM) at Florida International University in Miami, FL. At HWCOM, she was responsible for implementing protocols to measure and assess the performance of wide-ranging health and social intervention efforts implemented by the Green Family Foundation Neighborhood Health Education Learning Program (NeighborhoodHELP).
Previously, Dr. Fairclough held a faculty appointment at the Florida State University College of Medicine and served as Assistant Dean for Assessment at the Palm Beach Atlantic University Gregory School of Pharmacy, where she oversaw all evaluation, accreditation, and continuing pharmacy education. She also held a Government Operations Consultant position in the Florida Department of Health (DOH) Bureau of Epidemiology, where she served as the Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS) Surveillance Coordinator for the State of Florida.
Dr. Fairclough earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Science Education, a Master of Public Health degree, and a Master of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Florida. She obtained her PhD in Human Sciences from Florida State University and subsequently completed her post-doctoral fellowship training in Behavioral Medicine Research at Duke University Medical Center.
