On Saturday, Oct. 20 and Sunday, Oct. 21 Roseman University of Health Sciences and the Orthodontic Clinic were highlighted on Hometown Discoveries. Hometown Discoveries is “a local weekend morning television show featuring the people, events and companies that make Las Vegas THE place to live, shop, work and play.” The television show airs on Saturday and Sunday on KTUD VEGAS TV, Cable Channel 14 every weekend.
In Episode 21 Debbie Donaldson, Host of Hometown Discoveries, interviewed Dr. Coffman, Executive Vice President for Quality Assurance and Intercampus Consistency, to discuss the University, the programs that are offered, the design of the curriculum and the University’s unique block system. Dr. Coffman stressed the importance that the University places on training the students to be highly competent health care professionals. Dr. Coffman also offered parents with children who are interested in the health care profession tips on how to help their children succeed.
Episode 22 featured the Orthodontic Clinic at Roseman University. Debbie Donaldson interviewed Dr. Pourhamidi, Dean, College of Dental Medicine, to discuss the Clinic, the services that are offered, and the Orthodontic Residency Program. Dr. Pourhamidi stressed that every individual should be able to get braces and the Clinic helps provide that service at a very low cost, up to 50% cheaper than private orthodontists.
