Roseman Alum and Preceptor Helps with Virtual Learning

Early on in the pandemic I heard from my students that they were concerned about graduating while many clinical sites were temporarily closed. I volunteered to precept students virtually from various schools around the country including Roseman College of Pharmacy students. Last week I set up a in-person sterile compounding lab for some of these students to complement their virtual learning.

In March I heard about the critical shortage of blood products due to decreased donations. I organized a blood drive at my hospital which resulted in nearly 40 blood donations, which will translate to 120 units of blood products and lives saved.
